to host ipb its about $20 a month

Either IPB or PHPBB3. SMF doesn't really seem like it has much security. I think you could still get a good template for phpbb3 or IPB. I would show you mine, but the host (X10) is moving there servers (well the free ones) and TBH my message board really isn't that popular

I think this is a good idea. I have hosted a lot of ipb.3 forums in my life and must agree it is much more sexy.

Anyway, I think it's a good idea anyway. Although SMF Machine forums are quite good. Ipb.3 Forums are quite a lot sexier.

almost all paid things are sexy. but this forum is powered by SMF (which is free) as it says on the bottom, i used to host this kind of forum but now I use mybb to try out something new.
